A city that bears the scars of Europe’s most recent conflicts, Berlin is a fantastic place to learn more about the Second World War, the Cold War and their aftermath.

At Checkpoint Charlie, we get a glimpse of what life was like for Berliners before the fall of the Berlin Wall, which divided the city, and two opposing views of the world, until 1989.
