Camino de Santiago for Groups
The Camino de Santiago is a very special experience for walkers of all ages and travelling this historic trail together will be a memorable adventure. Our Camino de Santiago for groups are perfect for schools, clubs or groups of friends.
Walking together is an excellent team building exercise and a unique way of discovering a new place. Taking the Camino de Santiago trail, your group will learn about the history and culture of this journey taken by thousands of pilgrims from all over the world for many centuries.
There are many different Camino de Santiago routes, across France, Portugal and Spain; stretching over many thousands of kilometres across Europe and all taking pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela, in Galicia. At JWT Travel we can create the perfect Camino de Santiago experience, whether you are looking to walk for just a few days, a week or longer.
Once in Santiago de Compostela, the group will have time to explore this wonderful little city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and we can organise wonderful activities for the group, for instance a trip to Cape Fisterra, by the Atlantic Ocean.

Which route should we take?
- We highly recommend walking at least the last 100kms into Santiago de Compostela, so your group will be able to request their ‘Compostela’ pilgrim certificate at the Pilgrims Office in Santiago, proof of their achievement as a team.
- You can walk the last stage in just a week and there are many Camino de Santiago routes to choose from, the most famous one being the Camino Frances.
- The Coastal Camino Portugues is a popular choice for those looking for a trail with a seaside feel.
- With thousands of miles of Camino routes stretching across Europe, you can walk as much or as little as our group is ready to take on.
- Many groups return to the Camino trails each year, walking different routes or stages.
- You can read more about all the different Camino routes and tours on our dedicated Camino page: JWT CAMINO.
