Camino For Schools - JWT Camino

Camino For Schools

At JWT we believe learning happens everywhere, not only in the classroom; and that travel is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children and students, the citizens of the future. Our Camino for Schools tours are perfect to discover history on the go.

Our Camino for Schools tours are designed for young pilgrims to experience the historic trails to Santiago. Walking the Camino de Santiago will be an unforgettable adventure and memorable achievement for younger pilgrims.

Following in the footsteps of medieval pilgrims, the UNESCO-listed ancient trails of the Camino de Santiago give students a fantastic team challenge and immersive cultural experience to remember.

In order to receive their Compostela Pilgrim Certificate, the group must walk at least the last 100kms of one of the Camino routes into Santiago de Compostela, which takes approximately a week.

However, we can also organise 4-night Camino de Santiago short breaks so they can get a taste for this unique trail.

The Camino de Santiago is one of our most popular school trips and Transition Year tours.

Whether you pick the traditional Camino Frances, the Camino Portugues or an off the beaten track route, their Camino journey will be a truly memorable adventure.

You can find more travel ideas for your classroom on our page: JWT Schools.
