Western Mediterranean Cruise from Barcelona Itinerary
Day 1 – Barcelona, Spain
A cruise from Barcelona is one the best ways to explore the most breathtaking destinations in the Mediterranean. Also, if you have time before you embark the Legend of the Seas. Take a chance to visit and be amazed by the masterpiece of Antoni Gaudi like La Sagrada La Familia, Casa Batllo, and La Pedrera Casa Mila. Your ship departs promptly at 5:00 pm, so plan to arrive at least 2-3 hours early to account for checking in and boarding protocols. During this time, many of the ship’s amenities are open and operating, so feel free to start your holiday early.
Day 2 – Palma de Mallorca, Spain
Delight in Palma De Mallorca’s colorful cultural heritage you may watch a live Spanish Flamenco show or discover the spectacular scenic views and gothic architecture and get a panoramic view of the city and harbor from Bellver Castle the Europe’s first circular castle.
Day 3 – Day at Sea

Day 4 – Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy
While traveling to Florence or Pisa, enjoy a scenic drive through the celebrated Tuscan countryside with its rolling hills, olive and cypress trees and medieval villages. After climbing Pisa’s Leaning Tower, explore the atmospheric white, rose and red piazzas (squares). In Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, you can marvel at the paintings in the Uffizi Gallery and cross the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge, packed with local boutiques to poke your head into.
Day 5 – Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
Stroll though the historical city of Rome, walking through Rome feels like you are in an open air museum. Walking around in Rome you can see the archeological area Colosseum the largest ancient amphitheater ever built. Or explore the history and spiritual legacy of the Vatican.
Day 6 – Naples/Capri, Italy
The third largest Italian city and one of the oldest in Europe, Naples combines deep history and modern verve. Check out the extravagant Royal Palace of Naples, the former home of the royal family, with its beautiful tapestries and frescoes. People watch from a streetside cafe in the with a glass of wine and slice of classic marherita pizza.

Day 8 – Barcelona, Spain
The cruise might have ended, but there are still some great activities to enjoy in the area. If you flew into this port, be mindful of your departure flight time and plan accordingly.
