DAY 1 – Amador (Panama City), Panama

Framed by two oceans connected by the singular Panama Canal (the 7th Wonder of the Modern World) this vibrant and dynamic urban centre is truly a city on the world’s stage of commerce and ecology. Sleek skyscrapers are surrounded by pristine nature. An incredible cultural crossroads sure to connect you to the uncommon.

DAY 2 & 3 – DAY AT SEA

DAY 4 – Acajutla, El Salvador

New horizons await in nature-blessed El Salvador, where dormant volcanoes crown the horizon and Pacific waves pound the rugged coast. Delve into Mayan ruins in Tazumal and stroll the cobbled streets of Santa Ana, enchanted by soaring gothic spires and pastel-painted facades. Inland, crater lakes and coffee plantations tempt you along wildflower-lined roads to beguiling national parks and charming villages.

DAY 5 – Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala

From time immemorial, this region has witnessed cultural, geographical, and political upheaval. Its position adjacent to fertile lowlands that run the length of the gorgeous black shoreline made it a strategic home to ancient civilisations. Pre-Olmec carved stone heads, the massive “fat gods”, are preserved nearby. Now a UNESCO-protected village filled with breath-taking scenery – Spanish Baroque-influenced architecture, brightly-coloured colonial buildings, and a lovely central square.

DAY 6 – Puerto Chiapas, Mexico

Mayan ruins and coffee estates sprawl in the shadow of Tacaná Volcano in Mexico’s lesser-trodden Chiapas. Discover the alchemy that transforms cacao into chocolate in the lush folds of mountain plantations and sip steaming coffee in Tapachula’s cafes, before venturing into the riverside ruins of Izapa, where ancient stories are etched into stone stelae and Mayan pyramids rise from the jungle.

DAY 7 – Huatulco, Mexico

Expect unforgettable encounters with nature where 9 blue water bays meet 36 golden beaches at the foothills of the Sierra Madre del Sur mountains. Catch a wave at Playa La Bocana, scuba Bahía San Agustín, trek lowland jungles to waterfalls or discover an archeological dig where black Iguanas sun and colourful birds chatter in trees. Sample mole and mezcal, both infamous to the state of Oaxaca, then shop the charming zocalo market of La Crucecita. Charter a boat, paddle through a mangrove lagoon, and toast a blazing sunset as it simmers into the Pacific Ocean.

DAY 8 – AT SEA

DAY 9 – Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Hugging the cerulean Banderas Bay, Puerto Vallarta is a stunning resort city set against the rugged Sierra Madres and the powerful Ameca River. The indigenous Aztatlan lived in this paradise when the Spanish arrived in the 1500s and chronicled the area’s natural beauty still home to birds, humpback whales, and dolphins.

DAY 10 & 11 – AT SEA

Surrounded by ocean, mountains, forest, and desert, gilded with crystal-clear light and the rich diversity of people, LA glows with a heavenly quality. Discover museums that hold illuminating works of Shakespeare, Thoreau and one of 12 surviving original Guttenberg Bibles. Then feel the creative firmament of mother nature at Santa Monica and Malibu Beaches.
