Sail Three Seas Cruise Adult Only Itinerary
DAY 1: Dubrovnik, Croatia
Ancient city walls. Higgledy-piggledy red rooftops. Cobbled streets worn by time. That’s Dubrovnik, a heart-stealing city that you just know you’re going to love the moment you arrive. Check out the 17th-century cathedral in the old town, with its striking gold and silver ruins
DAY 2: At Sea
DAY 3: Valletta, Malta
As your ship cruises into Valletta, a magical skyline of soaring steeples and bulbous church domes rises to greet you. This is Malta’s quintessential capital, a captivating city steeped in history.
DAY 4: Messina (for Mount Etna & Taormina), Sicily
Built out of limestone and lava, this black and white city’s the second biggest in Sicily. Think palazzo-lined boulevards, shop-fringed squares and designer bars stuffed into Baroque buildings. An ancient port, it comes with a history dating back to the 8th century BC.
DAY 5: Argostoli, Kefalonia
It’s no wonder the makers of Hollywood blockbuster Captain Corelli’s Mandolin chose Kefalonia as one of the film’s backdrops. The island is all tree-studded hills, which look out over pale beaches, which roll into perfectly-blue waters.
DAY 6: Corfu Town, Corfu
Awash with colourful flowers, Corfu is big on beauty. It’s known as the Emerald Isle, and its golden beaches, lush green landscape and colourful villages will have you constantly reaching for your camera. Soak up the views at Bella Vista, Corfu’s most famous lookout point.
DAY 7: Kotor, Montenegro
For years, the travel-savvy have kept Montenegro under their sunhats. But now the cat’s creeping out of the bag, and it’s hardly surprising. A tiny republic in southeast Europe, the scenery here will have your jaw dropping to the floor the moment you arrive.
Day 8 – Dubrovnik, Croatia
Arrive back in Dubrovnik for the final day, where the city’s medieval charm is on full display. Walk through the Old Town, wandering along stone streets surrounded by ancient walls and terracotta rooftops. Visit the Dubrovnik Cathedral, a striking 17th-century landmark filled with valuable religious treasures and a calm, historic atmosphere. Continue to the nearby Rector’s Palace, once the seat of government in the old Republic, now showcasing period furniture and artefacts that reflect the city’s past.
Later, take a boat trip around the Lapad Peninsula, where the coastline is lined with quiet beaches, pine trees, and clear blue water. It’s a relaxed way to see a different side of the city before the cruise comes to an end.
