Itinerary

Romantic Rhine and Moselle River Cruise Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Cologne, Germany

Arrive in Düsseldorf, Cologne, or Brussels and transfer to your five-star cruise ship docked in central Cologne. After a warm welcome from the English-speaking crew, settle into your luxurious cabin and begin exploring the ship’s top-class amenities.

Day 2 – Cochem, Germany

Start your day cruising along the picturesque Rhine and Moselle rivers, enjoying a relaxed breakfast and scenic views from the Sun Deck. In the afternoon, arrive in the charming town of Cochem for a guided tour through its narrow streets, colorful buildings, and historic castle. After dinner on board, enjoy a lively folk music performance with traditional instruments.

Day 3 – Trier, Germany

Cruise through the scenic Moselle Valley, passing vineyards on steep slopes and ancient Roman wine-growing terrain. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Trier, Germany’s oldest city, with remarkable Roman ruins like the Porta Nigra and UNESCO-listed landmarks. Return to the ship in Bernkastel for a relaxing evening and a gourmet dinner on board.

Day 4 – Bernkastel, Germany

Explore the fairy-tale town of Bernkastel on a guided tour through its cobbled streets and charming half-timbered houses, including the iconic Pointed House. After lunch on board, enjoy a peaceful afternoon cruising downstream along the picturesque Moselle River. End the day with another fine dinner and relaxing evening on your luxurious cruise ship.

Day 5 – Koblenz & Boppard, Germany

Discover the historic charm of Koblenz on a guided tour through its ancient streets, lively squares, and hidden corners, nestled at the meeting point of the Rhine and Moselle. After lunch on board, explore Boppard, the ‘Pearl of the Rhine’, with its Roman heritage, cobbled streets, and vibrant riverside atmosphere. Day 6 – Rhine Gorge & Rüdesheim, Germany

Sail through the breathtaking Rhine Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where legends and medieval castles line the dramatic riverbanks. Arrive in Rüdesheim for a guided tour of this iconic wine town, with highlights including Brömserburg Castle and Siegfried’s fascinating mechanical music museum. End the day with the unforgettable ‘Chef’s Dinner’, featuring the chef’s signature creations in an elegant setting.

Day 7 – Cologne, Germany

Cruise downstream to Cologne, enjoying scenic views and historic landmarks along the way, including the famous Remagen Bridge. Explore the city with a guided tour, admire its iconic Gothic cathedral, and end the day with a special chocolate tasting hosted by Cologne’s Lindt Chocolate Museum.
