ITINERARY FOR NORTH AMERICAN CRUISE FROM NEW YORK TO MONTREAL
DAY 1: NEW YORK, NY
Start your journey in the bustling city of New York City. Check in to your luxurious suite aboard the cruise ship and get settled. Explore Manhattan’s iconic landmarks, including Times Square, Central Park, and the Empire State Building. Enjoy a welcome dinner on the ship as you admire the stunning New York City skyline when the ship departs in the evening.
DAY 2: NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND
Arrive in Newport and begin your day with a Scenic Drive around Newport. In the afternoon, take a scenic stroll along the Cliff Walk for breathtaking ocean views. In the evening, return to the ship for dinner and a relaxing evening as you sail towards your next destination.
DAY 3: BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS
Upon arrival in Boston, embark on a guided tour of the Freedom Trail, visiting historical sites like Boston Common, Paul Revere’s House, and the Old North Church. Explore the Boston Public Market or the New England Aquarium, and enjoy lunch at Quincy Market or in the North End. In the evening, consider an optional excursion of a Panoramic Boston & Harbour Cruise.
DAY 4: PORTLAND, MAINE
Explore the charming city of Portland, starting with the Old Port district’s cobblestone streets and 19th-century architecture. In the afternoon, visit the Portland Head Light, one of the most photographed lighthouses in the United States. Discover Kennebunkport and enjoy a scenic drive along the Maine coastline and savour a seafood lunch featuring Maine lobster. DAY 5: DAY AT SEA

DAY 6: HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA
Arrive in Halifax and visit the Halifax Art & Architecture tour for a taste of local history and panoramic views. In the afternoon, explore the beautiful Public Gardens and take a stroll along the Halifax Waterfront. Consider visiting the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic to learn about the Titanic and Halifax’s maritime heritage. DAY 7: DAY AT SEA
Days at sea are the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and catch up with what you’ve been meaning to do. So whether that is going to the gym, visiting the spa, whale watching, catching up on your reading or simply topping up your tan, these blue sea days are the perfect balance to busy days spent exploring shore side.
DAY 8: CHARLOTTETOWN, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
Visit historic sites in Charlottetown such as PEI Coast & Historic Lighthouses, The Province House and St. Dunstan’s Basilica. Tour the Green Gables Heritage Place, the inspiration for “Anne of Green Gables,” and enjoy a lobster lunch or a scenic drive along the North Shore. Spend the afternoon at Victoria Park before returning to the ship for an evening show or themed dinner.
DAY 9: DAY AT SEA
Enjoy another relaxing day at sea. Attend a cooking class, visit the casino, or relax in the spa. Engage in creative workshops such as painting or photography to enhance your cruise experience.
DAY 10: SAGUENAY, QUEBEC
Arrive in Saguenay and visit the Fjord Museum to learn about the local ecosystem and history. Explore the Saguenay Fjord by boat tour or hiking, and experience local culture at the La Pulperie de Chicoutimi museum. Consider visiting the Saint-Félicien Wildlife Zoo to see Canadian wildlife up close. Enjoy an onboard dinner and attend a lecture or enrichment session on Canadian culture and history.
DAY 11: QUEBEC CITY
Established by the French settler Samuel de Champlain before the British landed on these shores, Quebec City – initially known as New France – is one of North America’s oldest cities. Towering over the banks of the Saint-Lawrence River, Quebec City relishes in details and eccentricities, and has reams of rich history and beautiful architecture – like the famous Château Frontenac. This chandelier-clad castle watches over the city and is said to be the world’s most photographed hotel. The wooden boardwalk of the canon-lined Dufferin Terrace offers stunning views of the city from its elevated standpoint.
There’s a wide variety of delicious international food to try and, of course – greasy helpings of poutine. Taste local cheeses, at the Marché du Vieux-Port indoor market, where you’ll sink your teeth into buttery cakes, pastries and encounter Canada’s fabled tree sap, maple syrup – revered like wine in these parts.
DAY 12: MONTREAL
A festival and foodie heaven, Montreal is a fascinating French flavoured destination of old-time European splendour and glittering urban charm. An elegant place of history, pavement cafes, and cobbled streets – Montreal wears its French heritage with a healthy dash of on-the-pulse Canadian cool.
