It’s also the original home of the iconic marble statue of Venus of Milo. Unearthed in 1820, the statue is now on display at the Louvre Museum in Paris, but Milos’s archaeological museum houses a replica.
DAY 4 – Patmos, Greece
Patmos is a small Greek island in the Aegean Sea steeped in religious history. The Monastery of Saint John the Theologian, a UNESCO World Heritage site, towers over the island’s capital, Chora. DAY 9 – Antalya, Turkey
