Itinerary

Day 1- Cologne

Docked on the banks of the Rhine in historic Cologne, one of Germany’s oldest cities, you’ll be welcomed aboard by the crew, who will show you to your cabin and the facilities before enjoying dinner and setting sail towards Andernach.

Day 2- Andernach & Koblenz

Wake up in the charming town of Andernach, one of Germany’s oldest, founded by the Romans and later expanded during medieval times. Explore its impressive medieval walls, the 56-meter Round Tower, and the majestic cathedral. Then, sail to Koblenz, located at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers, for a guided tour of its historic squares, restored buildings, and cozy cafes.

Day 3- Bernkastel

Enjoy a morning sailing along the Moselle River, surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. After lunch, explore the medieval town of Bernkastel, with its cobbled streets, timber-framed houses, and local wineries. Visit a cellar to learn about wine production and taste some of the finest Rieslings in the region. Return to the ship for dinner and a relaxing evening aboard as we sail on to Trier.

Day 4- Luxembourg & Tier

In the morning, travel from Trier to Luxembourg, a small yet picturesque country known for its castles, fortifications, and charming towns. Explore the capital, including its UNESCO Bock Casemates, cathedral, and quaint squares. In the afternoon, choose between returning to the ship for lunch and discovering Trier’s Roman heritage, or extending your stay in Luxembourg to enjoy its cuisine before heading to Trier. After dinner, we set sail towards Cochem.

Day 5- Cochem

Enjoy a relaxing day cruising towards Cochem, famous for its steep vineyards and impressive Reichsburg Castle. After a guided tour of the castle, you’ll have free time to explore the charming town, its colorful houses, and local wine cellars. Back on the ship, you can sample some of Germany’s famous beers before enjoying a delicious dinner as the ship continues its journey.

Day 6- Rhine Gorge & Rüdesheim

Cruise through the stunning UNESCO-listed Rhine Gorge, with its ancient castles and legends, before arriving in Rüdesheim. Enjoy a Winzerexpress train tour through the vineyards, followed by free time to explore the town’s charming streets, historic sites, and unique museums.

Day 7- Worms

Explore the historic city of Worms, with its Romanesque cathedral and ancient landmarks, before sailing to Mannheim. Enjoy a guided tour of Worms, followed by a relaxing afternoon cruise and free time to explore Mannheim, known for its innovation and beautiful baroque architecture, before a musical performance onboard.

Day 8- Heidelberg or Schwetzingen

Enjoy a morning of exploration with a choice between two options: a guided tour of the historic city of Heidelberg, famous for its university and castle, or a visit to Schwetzingen Palace and its stunning gardens, featuring impressive architecture and design. Afterward, return to the ship for a relaxing lunch and enjoy an afternoon of cruising along the Rhine towards Niederlahnstein.

Day 9- Braubach

We visit the picturesque town of Braubach with its impressive Philippsburg Palace and the option to tour the UNESCO-listed Marksburg Castle. In the afternoon, we cruise to Bonn, where we enjoy an exclusive dinner prepared by the chef.

Day 10- Bonn & Cologne

Explore the historic city of Bonn, birthplace of Beethoven, before sailing to Cologne. In the afternoon, choose a guided tour of either the Old Town or the stunning Cologne Cathedral, followed by a classical music performance onboard.

Day 11- Return home
