Highlights of Australia and New Zealand Escorted Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Travel to Singapore
Day 2 – Welcome to Singapore
On arrival in Singapore, we meet with our local guide before transferring to our hotel, where we settle in for a relaxing evening and a chance to unwind after our journey.
Day 3 – Singapore – Guided City Tour
Enjoy a half guided tour of Singapore, including Chinatown, the city’s oldest Hindu temple, and he colourful streets of Little India. Admire the views of Singapore River and enjoy the serenity of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the “green lung” of the city centre.
Day 4 – Fly to Sydney Australia
Day 5 – Arrive in Sydney, Australia
Day 6 – Uncover Sydney’s Highlights
Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Sydney, visiting The Rocks, the Opera House, St Mary’s Cathedral, Bondi Beach, and more, before finishing with a scenic harbour cruise and a relaxed evening at leisure.
Day 7 – Experience Sydney – Blue Mountains and View the Three Sisters

Day 9 – Sydney At Leisure – Optional Excursion – Hunter Valley Wines and Countryside
Day 10 – Fly to Outback Australia – Ayers Rock – Uluru
Today we say farewell to Sydney and transfer to Sydney Airport for a short internal flight to Ayers Rock in the centre of Australia. Enjoy some downtime and soak up the Red Centre of Australia!
Day 11 – Uncover Ayers Rock at Sunrise and Olgas (Kata Tjuta)
Day 12 – Fly to Cairns
Pease note: Depending on the arrival time of your flight, dinner may change to the following night instead. This will be confirmed closer to departure.
Day 13 – Fall in Love with the Great Barrier Reef & Scenic Flight
Travel to the outer Great Barrier Reef by high-speed catamaran for a day of swimming, snorkelling, semi-submersible cruising, and a spectacular helicopter flight over the reef, before returning to Cairns for a relaxed evening at leisure.
Day 14 – See More With Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail
Day 15 – Relax in Cairns
Day 16 – Fly to New Zealand
Day 17 – Transfer from Christchurch to Franz Josef
Travel from Christchurch to Franz Josef via the spectacular Trans Alpine scenic train and coach through the Southern Alps (or by scenic coach if the train is unavailable), with a stop at Arthur’s Pass and chances to spot native Kea birds.
Day 18 – Transfer from Franz Josef Village to Queenstown
Depart Franz Josef by coach and travel through rainforest, Haast Pass, Lakes Wānaka and Hāwea, and the Kawarau Gorge before arriving in Queenstown, with the evening free to explore this beautiful lakeside town.
Day 19 – Queenstown, Arrowtown and Remarkable Mountain Range Excursion
Enjoy a half-day guided tour of Queenstown, visiting Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, Kawarau Bridge, and a Central Otago winery, followed by a scenic gondola ride to Bob’s Peak. Spend the afternoon at leisure before an evening Lake Wakatipu cruise and a high-country farm experience with a barbecue dinner and sheep shearing demonstration.
Day 20 – At Leisure in Queenstown
Day 21 – Scenic Transfer by Coach to Christchurch via Lindis Pass and Lake Tekapo
Travel north through Kawarau Gorge and Central Otago to Lake Tekapo to see the Church of the Good Shepherd and the iconic sheepdog statue, then continue over Burkes Pass to Christchurch (approx. 490 km), ending the day with a group dinner.
Day 22 – Fly to Rotorua – North Island – Discover Whakarewarewa
Day 23 – Experience Rotorua and Discover New Zealand’s National Treasure the Kiwi
Day 24 – Transfer by coach to Auckland, including the Natural Wonder – Ruakuri Caves
Day 25 – Discover Auckland on a Guided Excursion
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Auckland, including Bastion Point, Auckland Museum (self-guided), the waterfront, and Parnell Village, with the afternoon free for shopping or exploring before our last day in New Zealand.
Day 26 – Fly to Bangkok, Thailand
We say farewell to New Zealand as we depart to Auckland Airport for our flight to our next destination and final stop, Bangkok.
Day 27 – Discover Bangkok
Start the day with a guided visit to Bangkok’s Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, followed by a long-tail boat cruise through the canals of Thonburi to Wat Suwannaram and a traditional alms-giving ceremony. In the evening, enjoy a Chao Phraya River dinner cruise with stunning views of Wat Arun and the Grand Palace, accompanied by music and a classical Thai dance performance.
Day 28 – Return Home
