Greek Isles and Croatia Cruise Itinerary

Day 1 –  Ravenna, Italy

Begin in the elegant port city of Ravenna, a place rich in history and artistry. Once the capital of the Western Roman Empire, Ravenna is famed for its stunning mosaics, grand churches, and UNESCO-listed landmarks that reflect its past glory. Arriving a day or two early allows time to soak up its unique charm and explore beyond the usual tourist trail.

Consider a side trip to Venice to see St. Mark’s Basilica and glide beneath the Rialto Bridge, or head to Bologna for local food at Mercato delle Erbe and sweeping views from the Asinelli Tower.

Boarding begins in the afternoon, with departure scheduled for 5:00 pm. Plan to arrive a few hours early to check in smoothly, and take advantage of your first taste of onboard dining, views, and relaxation as your cruise adventure sets sail.

Day 2 – Dubrovnik, Croatia

Day 3 – Day at Sea

Day 4 – Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Dock in Piraeus, the historic gateway to Athens and a hub of Greece’s rich maritime legacy. It’s bustling harbours reflect centuries of seafaring tradition dating back to the country’s Golden Age.

Dive into this history at the Hellenic Maritime Museum, where exhibits bring ancient shipbuilding and naval life to life. Wander through the charming Castella district, known for its hillside views, neoclassic architecture, and relaxed cafés.

Stroll along Sotiros Street, where well-known brands sit alongside local boutiques, perfect for picking up a few stylish finds or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere.

Day 5 – Santorini, Greece

Wake up to the breathtaking beauty of Santorini, one of the world’s most iconic islands, famed for its dramatic cliffs, whitewashed villages, and volcanic landscapes rising above the Aegean Sea.

Day 6 – Day at Sea

Day 8 – Ravenna, Italy

Your journey finally comes back in Ravenna, a city steeped in history and artistic brilliance. Once the capital of the Western Roman Empire, Ravenna remains a treasure trove of culture, with magnificent churches, grand palaces, and some of the world’s finest Christian mosaics spread across its UNESCO-listed sites.

If time allows, extend your stay and continue exploring this elegant seaside city at a relaxed pace. Alternatively, take advantage of Ravenna’s location with an easy trip to Venice, home to St. Mark’s Square and the iconic Rialto Bridge, or visit Bologna to sample local flavours at Mercato delle Erbe and take in the views from Asinelli Tower.
