In Heraklion, Crete’s capital, admire the majestic Mount Yioúhtas as you dock in the harbour; discover the mythical Palace of Knossos or visit historical monasteries and churches.  Continue to Rhodes, as you enjoy its beautiful beaches, archaeological ruins, and magnificent museums.

Next stop will be Limassol in Cyprus, well known for its medieval castle, waterfront sculpture park, and vast array of museums.

Now you arrive in Egypt, with your first destination being Port Said, at the northern end of the Suez Canal, on the Mediterranean Sea. Explore its city centre’s principal thoroughfare, Sharia al Gumhorriya. Or you can also visit Port Said’s bazaar, ranging from humble stalls on Salah al Din Street to smart boutiques on Sharia en-Nahda.  

Next stop in Egypt is Alexandria, which was Egypt’s capital for almost a thousand years. Here you’ll visit its iconic library, the Alexandria National Museum and the Roman Theatre. Take a cruise excursion to Corniche, which sweeps around the Eastern Harbour and along the coast past a string of city beaches to Montazah and Ma’amoura, burning out before the final beach at Abu Qir. 

Your final port before cruising back to Venice, is Split, in Croatia, where you can visit its ancient Roman Diocletian’s Palace; soak in views of the Adriatic Sea at Riva, or explore its impressive Old Town.
