Itinerary

Bahamas, Mexico & Cayman Caribbean Cruise Itinerary

Day 1 – Miami, Florida

Within view of Miami cruises, colorful characters from macaws to monkeys greet you at Jungle Island, with pink flamingos, white cockatoos, and green parrots. In Miami Beach, iconic Lummus Park frames the Art Deco hotels, fashion models, and fancy cars. From South Pointe Park, watch the ships glide out to sea. Up the coast at Bal Harbour Shops, designer boutiques challenge fashionistas, who shop till they drop at Haulover Park Beach, where the north end is clothing optional.

Cruises from Miami dock near Bayfront Park, a place to stroll the bay and get a bite. The Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science just debuted with a spectacular planetarium, and the new Pérez Art Museum Miami truly embraces its bay-side perch.

Day 2 – Nassau, Bahamas

Bustling markets and tranquil beaches define the vibrant spirit of Nassau, the capital of The Bahamas. Just three blocks from the port, the Nassau Straw Market brims with vendors, shoppers, and pirates, offering authentic local crafts. Minutes away, expansive white-sand beaches with turquoise waters and coral reefs beckon, perfect spots for observing sharks, swimming with dolphins, or enjoying water slides for the young and young at heart.

A short ferry ride takes you to Paradise Island, home to the legendary Atlantis Resort. Here, you can explore the mythical streets at Ruins Lagoon, walk through underwater shark tunnels at Predator Lagoon, or make a personal connection with gentle dolphins at Dolphin Cay, an accredited marine habitat featuring an 11-acre lagoon, sandy beaches, and interactive experiences.

Day 3 – At Sea

Day 4 –  George Town, Grand Cayman

This upscale destination offers world-class restaurants, designer boutiques, and duty-free shopping, plus white sand beaches, brilliant blue waters, and teeming coral reefs. Enjoy postcard views of George Town, Seven Mile Beach, and West Bay from the custom-designed Cayman Explorer. You can step down easily into shallow waters to interact with the welcoming stingrays.

Day 5 – Cozumel, Mexico

Amid the largest coral reef in the West, this Caribbean island lures anglers, divers, snorkelers, and beachgoers. Bring your dive card with you on your cruise to Cozumel and witness all the natural wonders waiting below the surface, like neon tropical fish, swaying sea fans, and vibrant coral colonies. Or, go snorkeling to see the show without a dive card. Curl up on the beach in a hammock with a cold one. At Playa Mia, you can even fly down Twin Twister waterslides.

Day 6 – Costa Maya, Mexico

Costa Maya boasts beautiful beaches on the Caribbean Sea, which is ideal for divers and snorkelers alike who enjoy exploring the beautiful Banco Chinchorro coral reef that lies just off the coast. History buffs will surely love exploring the lesser-known Mayan ruins, Cacchoben and Kohunlich; meanwhile there’s something for everyone at the new shopping mall, which, while great for shopping, also features a central plaza with saltwater pools and ‘swim-up’ bars.
