French studying students will be simultaneously developing their language skills at the immersive live shows as they are done through French with real-time translation.

The journey continues in the beautiful city of Nantes, where students will explore its cultural highlights, including a visit to Cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul de Nantes and a guided tour of the Château des Ducs de Bretagne. Another highlight of this tour will be the imaginative Les Machines de l’île, where creativity and engineering come together in spectacular fashion.

Itinerary

DAY 1 – Arrival in Nantes 

Fly from Dublin airport to Nantes. You will then be picked up at the airport and transferred to your accommodation where you will spend the night.

DAY 2 – Visit Puy du Fou

Following a good breakfast in the morning you will then be transferred to your first day at the Puy du Fou theme park. Here you will have the opportunity to discover the 6 different theme parks that span across 250 acres. This will be followed in the evening by one of there 20 different breathtaking shows. You will be transferred back to your accommodation for dinner.

DAY 3 – Visit Puy du Fou

On the third day of your trip, you will be returning by coach to Puy du Fou for your second full day at the park. Spend the day exploring even more of its spectacular shows, different villages and immersive historical experiences. In the evening, you may choose to attend the optional night show to round of your experience of this unforgettable theme park. Afterwards, return to your accommodation for dinner and to relax after another exciting day.

Day 4 – Tour of Nantes and Travel Home

Start off your last day with breakfast at your accommodation before heading out to explore the beautiful Cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul de Nantes. Continue with a guided tour of the historic Château des Ducs de Bretagne, uncovering its rich heritage and cultural significance. Afterwards, enjoy a unique experience on Les Machines de l’île on the Île de Nantes, which combines art and engineering. Conclude your journey with a coach transfer to Nantes Airport for your flight back to Dublin.
