Zakopane is known as the Winter Capital of Poland. It is the highest and most famous ski region in Poland, reaching an altitude of 1,987 metres. Zakopane’s strong cultural identity gives students the chance to experience traditional Polish food, architecture, and local customs alongside their skiing.
Szczyrk is home to the largest ski area in Poland, offering approximately 40 km of interconnected pistes. The region has 3 different resorts and is slightly more suited to more confident skiers.
