DAY 1 – ROME

Today, the group will fly to Rome in the morning and our local guide will meet you at the airport.

The school trip kick starts with a visit to Rome’s most iconic attractions: the spectacular Colosseum amphitheatre and the Roman Forum.

Open to the public in the year 80, the Colosseum used to host up to 50,000 spectators that gathered to watch gladiator fights, games, exhibitions and even executions.

Between the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum was once the heart of the city, the centre of religious, political and social life of Ancient Rome.

DAY 2 – VATICAN AND ROME

Today we will explore the Vatican which is a city-state within Rome and cradle of Catholic faith. The group will visit Saint Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, one of the world’s most important works of Renaissance architecture and art.

The Sistine Chapel is the Pope’s official residence and Michaelangelo’s masterpiece, home to the famous Last Judgement frescoes.

In the evening, we will stroll Rome and visit the iconic Trevi Fountain where you can even throw a coin in for good luck. Its name means ‘Tre Vie’, three ways, as it is at a junction of three streets. Approximately one million euro in coins are collected from the Trevi Fountain each year, which is then donated to charitable causes.

DAY 3 – RAINBOW MAGICLAND AND BAY OF NAPLES

Today, the group will leave Rome City behind and spend the morning enjoying the roller coasters and other thrilling rides at the Rainbow Magicland Theme Park.

In the afternoon, we will travel to the Bay of Naples where the group will learn how to make authentic pizza Napoletana at a tasty cookery class.

DAY 4 – POMPEII

In the morning it is time to visit the fascinating Pompeii archaeological park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important historic sites in Italy.
