This Active School Trip to Austria takes students to AREA 47 in Ötztal, Tyrol, Austria’s largest outdoor park, the perfect setting for a sport-focused school trip. A highlight of this trip will be a visit to the famous FC Bayern Museum, as students explore the history of one of football’s greatest clubs.

This is a fantastic tour with plenty of active, fun, and supervised activities. Students will take part in a high ropes course, taking place between two bridge pillars, a thrilling challenge, and a wonderful opportunity to admire the spectacular Alpine surroundings.

Our school trip also includes a thrilling mountain bike school class, with top equipment and expert bike guides, where students can improve their riding technique as they bike through the Ötztal mountains. Or, they can stay in the unique indoor bike park and discover the full potential of the AREA 47 Bike Academy. The next fun activity will be rafting down Austria’s wildest rivers with AREA 47’s rafting tours. With guides by their side, students will navigate the Ötztaler Ache and Imst Gorge rapids for maximum fun.

In Munich, Germany, students will visit the Allianz Arena, as they take a look behind the scenes of Europe’s most modern football stadium. They will also be immersed in the world of the German record champions in the FC Bayern Museum.

  • Mountain Bike School Classes – Top equipment and expert bike guides will help you improve your riding technique. Together, head off into the Ötztal mountains to the tours and single trails on the Hochzeiger. Or you can stay in the unique indoor bike park and discover the full potential of the AREA 47 Bike Academy!
