KIBOKO RIVER CAMP

Immersed in one of the most iconic settings of the Galana River valley, Kiboko River Camp is increasingly in symbiosis with the river, that gives the entire coastal hinterland unforgettable landscapes and the survival of thousands of wild animals.

Kiboko River Camp offers six exclusive, elegant and spacious tents with brick bases, all cared into the smallest details, with a private veranda overlooking the river.

Kiboko River Camp also offers an infinity pool. The accessible remote swimming pool chair ensures that all guests can enjoy the stunning infinity pool overlooking the Galana River.

 

Accessible Kenya Safari Holiday Itinerary

DAY 1 –  20 February | Depart Dublin airport for Mombasa

It is time to start your Accessible Kenya Safari Holiday. Meet the JWT Travel rep at Dublin Airport. Our airport representative will assist with check-in at Dublin airport on departure.

DAY 2 – 21 February  |  Arrive Mombasa

Meet the local team at Moi International Airport, Mombasa and transfer to your accommodation on a wheelchair accessible jeep.

DAY 3 – 22 February  |  Day at Kiboko River Camp

Today, you will enjoy a relaxing day at the luxurious Kiboko River Camp, located in the impressive Galana River valley. You’ll have plenty of time to explore this beautiful setting as well as admire its coastal hinterland landscapes, home of  thousands of wild animals. The most scenic area is along the Galana River, which offers a corridor of lush vegetation amidst an often harsh and arid landscape.

DAY 4 – 23 February |  Safari in Tsavo East National Park (Wheelchair Accessible)

Enjoy lunch in Kiboko River Camp before heading on Safari to the iconic Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest national park. Admire its dramatic volcanic landscapes, the Galana River and the spectacular Yatta Plateau, with the chance to spot some of the Big Five, including Tsavo’s famous red elephants.

DAY 5 – 24 February | Game Drive in the morning (Wheelchair Accessible)

Start the day with an early morning game drive. Return to the camp for lunch and then head back to the bush for a sundowner experience.

DAY 6 – 25 February | Pizza-Making Class

Today you’ll enjoy a relaxing rest day and pizza-making class.

DAY 7 – 26 February | Safari in Tsavo East National Park (Wheelchair Accessible)

Start the day with an early morning game drive through Tsavo East, with a packed lunch to enjoy along the way.

DAY 8 – 27 February |  Depart Mombasa Airport for Dublin

Today you will be transferred to Moi International Airport, for your departure. As your safari comes to an end, take with you unforgettable memories of Kenya’s landscapes, wildlife and culture.
