DAY 1 – 20TH MARCH 25 – DUBLIN TO JOHANNESBURG

Today our South Africa tour begins. We will fly from Dublin to Johannesburg via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines.

DAY 2 – 21ST MARCH 25 – ARRIVAL IN JOHANNESBURG

We will arrive in Johannesburg this morning at approximately around 10:50am. The group will be met by our local rep at the airport and transferred from the airport to Protea Loftus Park Hotel in Pretoria. The group can relax at the hotel for the day.

DAY 3 – 22ND MARCH 25 – MATCH DAY

Enjoy pre match lunch at Protea Loftus Park Hotel before the Bulls v Leinster match.

DAY 4 – 23RD MARCH 25 – TRAVEL TO CAPE TOWN

After breakfast, the group will check out of Protea Loftus Park Hotel and travel to the airport for a flight to Cape Town. Exact time to be confirmed.

On arrival the group will be collected at the airport and travel to the hotel to check in.

DAY 5 – 24TH MARCH 25 – SIGHTSEEING IN CAPE TOWN

After breakfast at the hotel, the group will be collected at the hotel and enjoy a city tour of Cape Town’s most iconic landmarks such as Castle of Good Hope, City Hall and the Grand Parade. We will also take a trip on the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, to admire the most wonderful views for the city (weather permitting).

DAY 6 – 25TH MARCH 25 – FREE DAY

Today the group will enjoy a free day to relax or travel to a Game Reserve for an early morning Safari led by experienced guides and game rangers.The game drive lasts approximately two hours and will bring you close to South Africa’s iconic Big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo) and other native species. Buffet breakfast and lunch are included as part of the day trip.

DAY 7 – 26TH MARCH 25 – WINE TOUR

Today the group will enjoy a superb day out wine tasting in the picturesque Cape winelands. The winelands are renowned for their crisp white and classic French style red wines, fabulous cheeses and olives; all produced in a beautiful setting overlooking lush valleys. We will be visiting two superb wineries in the spectacular Stellenbosch region: Waterford Estate, on the rolling slopes of the Helderberg Mountain which gives their wines a unique character; and the chic Tokara Wine Estate enjoying unparalleled views overlooking False Bay and Table Mountain.

DAY 8 – 27TH MARCH 25 – TRAVEL TO DURBAN

After breakfast, the group will check out of the Southern Sun Hotel and travel to Cape Town airport for a flight to Durban, around lunchtime. Exact time to be confirmed.

The group will be picked up at Durban airport and transferred to the Radisson Blu Hotel.

DAY 9 – 28TH MARCH 25 – FREE DAY

Enjoy a free day to relax or explore at your leisure.

DAY 10 – 29TH MARCH 25 – MATCH DAY

The group will enjoy lunch before the Leinster match. We will be picked up at the hotel to travel to Growthpoint Kings Park for the Sharks v Leinster match.

DAY 11 – 30TH MARCH 25 – TRAVEL BACK TO DUBLIN

Today we say goodbye to South Africa. The group will be collected at the Radisson Blu Hotel to travel to Durban airport for our flight to Istanbul and Dublin. Flight departing at 15:05hrs. We hope you enjoyed your trip!
