DAY 1: DEPART DUBLIN TO MALTA

Check in in Dublin Airport for your morning flight to Malta.  
Arrive Malta around lunch time and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon free to relax at the hotel.
 
DAY 2: WALKING TOUR OF VALLETTA

Breakfast in hotel followed by a 3 hour in-depth morning walking tour around Valletta.
It focuses on the top sights in Valletta starting from the Baroque heart of the city centre and venturing into its beautiful outskirts, the home of the “Beltin” (the nickname given to the people living in Valletta).  Free time for lunch and afternoon free to explore the city further
 
DAY 3: EXPLORE VALLETTA

Today you have the full day to free explore the area at leisure or relax at the hotel. The local guide will offer recommendations on things to see and do in the area.

DAY 4: CITY OF MDINA AND SIGHTSEEING

Full day tour of the fortified city of Mdina. We will then stop at the Christian catacombs of St Paul in Rabat and visit the cliffs at Dingli before some free time for lunch.  

After lunch, we will visit the San Anton botanical gardens, the crafts centre at Ta’Quail, and Mosta, home to one of Europe’s largest and most impressive domes.

DAY 5: FREE DAY TO EXPLORE 

Today you have the full day to free explore the area at leisure or relax at the hotel. Our local guide will offer recommendations on things to see and do in the area. 

DAY 6: VITTORIOSA, COSPICUA, SENGLEA & SLIEMA

Morning tour taking in the Three Cities of Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea.  After a guided tour of the quaint streets of Vittoriosa, we will visit Senglea Garden. In the afternoon there will be further free time in the bustling seaside town of Sliema, to enjoy its seafront promenade, cafes and shops, before returning to the hotel.

DAY 7: GOZO, MGARR HARBOUR, ĠGANTIJA, VICTORIA & DWEJRA

Full day guided tour to the island of Gozo. After a short ferry crossing, we will visit Mgarr harbour before continuing to the Megalithic temples of Ggantija. Next, we will discover Gozo’s medieval capital Victoria, followed by a visit to the fjord-like bay at Xlendi and the inland sea at Dwejra. The afternoon is free time to shop in local craft stores and soak up the atmosphere before returning to the hotel.

DAY 8: DEPART TO DUBLIN

Breakfast in the hotel, followed by check out, before travelling to the airport for a late morning flight back to Dublin.
